Many technology companies may claim “integration” with your practice management system (PMS or PIMS), but in reality, very few are actually fully integrated.

Instead, most of these “integrated” scheduling solutions only have the ability to read certain portions of data without true access or guaranteed accuracy. 

By reading some of your data, they can make it appear as though they’re pulling open appointment slots in real-time, but what they absolutely can’t do is write a “booked” appointment back into your PIMS.
